3D Printing Lab

At WaterProof, we have our own 3D printing lab, allowing us to turn digital designs, measurement data and technical concepts into physical models. This enables us to make ideas and research results visible and tangible, and to further develop and test them where needed.

3D printing within our projects

3D printing can be used at different stages of a project. We can produce custom-made components and structures, develop prototypes and scale models, and create models for research and testing. This allows us to evaluate technical solutions and compare different designs or variants in practice.

Our 3D printing lab complements the technical facilities and expertise available within WaterProof. This allows us to turn designs and measurement data into physical models that can then be tested and further optimised. For example, 3D-printed models can be used for experiments in our dredging and jetting basin and flumes, or to evaluate technical solutions in advance.
